Sea salt cleansing toner for oily hair can be prepared in two ways: simply with salt water or with shampoo and salt.

  • 2 parts of shampoo
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of sea salt (30 or 45 g)

Preparation and application

  • The first thing to do is pour two parts of the shampoo of your choice into a properly clean and dry container.
  • Add 2 or 3 scoops of sea salt (depending on the amount of fat accumulated) to the shampoo container and mix until the salt is completely diluted.
  • Once in the bath, put some of the mixture on your head and rub it along your hair.
  • Be sure to massage the scalp with the mixture for 5 minutes,  and let the hair rest for another 5 or 10 minutes.
  • After the indicated time, begin to remove the mixture with warm water. It is usually suggested to finish the wash with cold water to close the hair cuticle and thus alleviate oily hair.
  • Once the process is finished, it is recommended to apply some moisturizing cream. Thus, we promote good hair recovery.
  • We can repeat the process 2 to 4 times a week. At the end of a month, you can start to see magnificent results regarding hair exfoliation.
